Two Basel Restaurants are starting a new chapter
The Ufer7 team is moving to Ochsengasse – Roter Bären and Perron are joining forces in St. Johann
14.07.2026 - Two interrelated changes are on the horizon for Basel’s restaurant scene: The well-established team at Restaurant Ufer7 will move into the premises of the current Roter Bär on Ochsengasse in the spring of 2027.
At the same time, the current operators of the Roter Bär will continue their restaurant business in partnership with Restaurant Perron at St. Johann Station. There, under the name Perron, a new dining and social gathering place will be created based on a fresh concept that combines the strengths and characteristics of both establishments.
